started using it about 1 or 2 months ago after ublock origin got taken down from chrome. i fully uninstalled it liek a dumbass instead of just turning it back on so i switched to this since i couldnt get it back put it on complete filtering mode & its pretty much the same :^) idk if i can block certain elements via right-click though

Exactly what it says on the tin - a less fully featured but more lightweight version of Ublock Origin which is Manifest V3 complaint. At least from my experience, Manifest V3's impact on (the basic functionality of) adblockers has been greatly exaggerated by the media. Make sure you set filtering to "Optimal" or "Complete" if you want to block all ads. With "Complete" filtering, I have not noticed any difference in the number of ads Ublock Origin Lite is able to block, compared to the original UBO. Your experience with Ublock Origin Lite will largely depend on what you want out of it. If you're looking for a simple "set and forget" adblocker, this is one of the best options out there - it doesn't slow down your browser, and it's even faster than the original Ublock Origin. If you're an advanced user (eg. someone who likes to set their own custom filters), Ublock Origin Lite is not for you - I'd recommend using another content blocker, or switching to Firefox, where the original Ublock Origin will still work in the future. This adblocker only does the basics, but it does them really well.
