There's an annoying lag period when entering/exiting fullscreen on a YouTube video. On my machine, it's normally ~2 seconds; but with a large playlist expanded, it gets up to ~3 seconds. This extension reduces the transition time to almost nothing.
Supported fullscreen transitions:
- Clicking the fullscreen button
- Pressing the F key
- Double-clicking the video
Unsupported fullscreen transitions (still slow):

It works better than the default transition but sometimes shows a grey bar for a few seconds on the player where the media controls (pause, volume slider, timer) are. Sometimes the transition gets slowed down when there's multiple tabs on chrome and takes around 3 to 5 seconds. Please fix this issue. Other than that, there's no issues and it works great! Thanks for this extension!
I have an i7 11700K and rtx 3080 ti, 32gb RAM DDR4 4000Mhz CL16. And it works only once every 30 times ahahahah. The Youtube site is badly optimized, this extension is even worse. Do not download it, It works only when it want ahahah. The developer is even worst than google ones.
Totally better than default! From up to a 6 second lag to less than 1 second. Not as fast as Firefox though, but I can live with this so long as I can stay on Chrome.

very nice extension reduced the delay tp 1 second... theres still 0.5 delay though, also, is there any way I can implement this or is there any extension that can make it work on all html video with fullscreen... so i can remove all the delay when i view a <video> on fullscreen

Let me tell you that you just fixed probably the second most annoying thing from Youtube, the first one is the ads. I've been waiting for this moment for years, and I'm not kidding, I even sent feedback for years to Youtube, but they just don't care. Big big big big thank you!!!
