Was amazing for a few weeks (automatically skipping right by all ads), but alas is no longer working - ads play, and require manual clicking to skip. For a while ads would black-screen and skipping would force the video to restart. Now it frequently has no effect at all on ads. For avoidance of doubt this is the 2.8.3 version. Seems YouTube have got wise to whatever loophole it was taking advantage of... hopefully a new trick can be found! Edited to add: sometimes ads in the same video will behave differently - one will autoplay, one will sit on a 'skip' screen, and one will be automatically skipped. Not sure what the pattern is! Edited again: automatically updated to 2.8.4 but ads are still playing and requiring manual clicking to skip. Tried a few different videos - not always easy to tell if it's working, but definitely having a few ads show and require clicking. Worked flawlessly for a few weeks, but now it makes the screen black and will sometimes end the video or start it from the beginning. Is there an update to patch this? Update: I have the updated extension installed and the black screen problem is gone but now ads appear and play as if the ad skipper wasn't even installed at all. There is no ad skipping at all, just regular youtube with ads despite having it installed

I seem to be having trouble with the extension. First ad will go to the end screen for a few seconds and the second ad played in full. When I first downloaded, it worked flawlessly but ive been having problems with it for about a week now. After Developer response, I confirmed I am on version 2.8.3 and seem to still be having trouble. First ad sat on the end screen for a few seconds and second ad (Google Fiber) played in full. Updated to 2.8.4 and I am currently getting long ad end screens where you still have to click "skip". I understand Youtube will constantly update how their ads work since their revenue is based on their ad revenue. This developer continues to advance their extension to properly block the ads and deserves support.
