High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

It's a good extention but need development. Option to invert page but keep images and videos normal. The scrollbar gets infinite long both width and height.
Even though I have darkened the colors and increased the contrast, the writing on the screen is very, very light and difficult to read.

De witte op zwart is te grote een tegenstelling.
At first I loved this extension. Several websites I use frequently have veery low contrast and this app was a dream come true. But, after a little while of using it I noticed a few major drawbacks: 1. I can no longer print anything from Google Chrome. What is downloaded to print is a blurry document with dozens of pages of white space. This happens regardless of the website I am trying to print from. 2. On Facebook (which I set to "normal" contrast) my blue bar that usually stays on the top of the page started moving around the page as I scrolled. Very irritating. 3. Other pages doen't seem to work properly (when I switch over to Safari I can see the difference). I have the app set to default to normal and only used high contrast for a couple of sites I use every day. While I loved the contrast on the sites I needed to use this app with, the other things make Chrome unworkable for me.

Man sollte 1. Sich vorstellen können, wie es ist mit Schwarzem Hintergrund und weißen Buchstaben. Auf Seiten wo nur Text ist, erinnert es einen irgendwie daran wie es aussieht wenn man den PC gerade eingeschaltet hat! 2. Man sollte ein "kleines" bisschen Ahnung von der Deinstallation haben! Wenn man es im nachhinein nicht mehr möchte. 3. Wenn man sich denkt das es "vielleicht" irgendwann einmal zur Benutzung kommt, sollte man als Nutzer auch wissen wie man es aus und einschalten kann! Also im Grunde ganz einfach! Ich habe mich die 3. entschieden, weil vorhin als Ich es eingeschaltet hatte mir nicht sonderlich gefiel. Aber nachdem Ich es irgend wann doch noch nutzen sollte, und es mir gefällt könnte Ich "evtl. Theoretisch momentan" höher Bewerten.
It's good but it's generates an infinite scrollbar on pages.
Can you come up with high contrast on text and backgrounds only and not screw the color on pics and video clip. I heat the fact that some thinks its smart to use white background for text on displays it is hard on the eyes and kill display screens not to mention battery life on portable devices now how do I deactivate this option
