High Contrast lets you browse the web with your choice of several high-contrast color filters designed to make it easier to read text.
When you install this extension, all pages are "inverted", so black becomes white and white becomes black. Press the "browser action" icon in the toolbar to toggle it on and off, or customize your settings on a per-site basis. Use a convenient keyboard shortcut to quickly change your settings while your browse.
Other extensions try to change the default colors, but this ends up breaking many popular websites. Only this extension applies filters to your page that invert almost everything - the only exception is photos, which are left alone.
Also note that the Chrome web store and other built-in pages like the New Tab page and Settings pages are unaffected - extensions like this one are not allowed to modify them, by design.

La extensión configurada en el Esquema de Colores, "Contraste Aumentado" presenta la siguiente dificultad: Las fotos en la aplicación webWhatsapp.com y páginas web en general tienen una mala apariencia, son fotos altamente contrastadas sin requerirlo, el programa debería excluir a las fotos de la sección de conversación en web Whatsapp para mejorar accesibilidad visual. La aplicación no se actualiza desde el año 2016 teniendo la oportunidad de ser mejorada.

На Windows 7 SP-1 , параметр "Настройки" - не активно, и соответственно невозможно изменить ничего. А "по умолчанию", после инсталяции, стоит "инверсная" настройка! То-есть, ВСЕ цвета показываются "НАОБОРОТ", а не только чёрный с белым поменялись! В общем, вместо изменения "Световой Тональности", зачем-то меняется "ЦВЕТОВАЯ ГАММА"! И при этом нет возможности посмотреть настройки. В общем, на своих фотографиях, вы теперь увидите, похожих на вас фиолетово-зелёных инопланетян. Не падайте в обморок! Зато теперь "это" не слепит вам глаза!! Наверное это Здорво, да??! Enjoy ёпт. ;)

makes the lite-type easier to see.
It's a start but, really needs to have sliding control of the contrast. One size doesn't fill all situations. Again NEEDS LEVELS OF CONTRAST to be adjusted by the user not just it's on it's off & nothing in between. Great for printing lame gray print but, because it can't be lightened the images get to dark. Would score higher if adjustable contrast was available.

Inverts photo at the same time, but they say it will not.
1. Makes images unreadable. Could be improved by offering custom palette of colors 2. Re: temperature spike. I don't know if it's true but a reviewer of a Weather extension by this developer says he found that extension hijacks his CPU in order to mine a bitcoin type of currency. If this is true and it is also done with this extension that could explain the temperature spikes that Anthony Gonzalez Gelbert complains of. This hijacking is totally immoral and should be illegal. Only a criminal mind would do such a thing. The developer must address this issue.
