The extension allows users to set the maximum number of tabs they want open across their chrome windows at a time. If a user tries to open a tab when he's already at his tab limit, the newly opened tab automatically closes. This extension will be useful to users who find themselves opening more tabs than they need to. It will also helps users get less distracted from the task at hand by finding themselves opening unnecessary tabs. It is kind of a nudge for them to remind themselves that, hey, they need to stay focused on the task at hand. The user can adjust the number of maximum tabs they want open at any point in time.

EXTENSION IS GREAT BUT I WANT TO REQUEST YOU TO ADD A FEATURE BY WHICH I CAN DELAY OR LOCK THE UI OF EXTENSION SO I CAN'T CHANGE THE NUMBER OF TAB I WANT TO OPEN.
Best app to prevent spreading your attention. Good for my dopamine detox.
Would be 5 stars if it warned reached limit. Please add a warning to when we reach the limit, I loose sites like this. Por favor adicionem aviso de limite atingido.
Works well. It's simple and straight forward.
Great extension, but will lock you out of chrome if you set it to 0!!!! The current solution on windows is to delete the folders C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Chrome\User Data\Default\Extensions\djdcpjfmniidpdaalloiipgjphgikejl and C:\Users\[your username]\AppData\Local\Chrome\User Data\Default\Sync Extension Settings\djdcpjfmniidpdaalloiipgjphgikejl

This does actually stop malicious new tabs opening when set to max 1. New tabs can still be opened manuallly which is ok. Exactly what I wanted. All the others seem to no longer work.
