WorkMode is a Google Chrome Extension that, when turned on, auto-blocks ALL social media and custom URLs & keywords from even appearing.
To activate, simply click on the gray/white 'W' icon on the top-right of the Chrome browser. This will toggle the icon to 'red', meaning it's activated. You can edit which URLs are blocked by right clicking on the icon and selecting 'Options'.
Note: Currently, we do not store any personal information on any external system or database aside from the local browser LocalStorage from which the Chrome extension is used.

Works well. Could be improved by requiring a typing test or other step before allowing extension to be toggled off.
Doesn't block instagram

Would be great to have possibilyty adding custom urls to blocking list.
I want it to be ON all the time
when the extension is ON, and the browser is closed and opened again, the extension is off. is there a possibility that the extension stay on even after closing the browser and only turned off manually.
lightweight, just a button, very nice, but you should add the possibility to add own sites / or keep track of social media networks. ie instagram isnt part of the added networks
Very nice. A possible improvement: close all social media already open tabs when turning the extension on.
Functionally sound. There is a display bug between tabs, which is that changing modes on one tab doesn't sync the status icon across all tabs. This leads to confusion on the expected behavior, even though it does behave according to its internal state.
