This is SO helpful, the default behavior in Chrome is so annoying
I've been searching this for years! Always asking why chrome doesn't do that? Bro, you are life saver! :)
Many thanks! This extension worked immediately and easily. I wish I had come across this sooner. Up until now I would have to use this workaround to avoid new folders going to the end of the line: I would create a folder within a folder which was readily visible towards the front of the bookmarks bar. Then I would move that new folder.
Doesn't work, still have to manually move bookmarks. Deserves zero stars.
Wonderful extension that's still working in 2024 to add bookmarks to the top of any bookmark folder automatically when press the bookmark this tab "STAR" button. I hope that the developer updates it before it gets discarded from Chrome Webstore.
I have used it for a while and it is amazing. However, recently, Chrome disabled this extension and suggested me to remove it, because " This extension hasn't published privacy practices, such as how it collects and uses data" . Could the author kindly check and update your privacy policy with Google? Thank you for this amazing product.
