Managed to find a song from a twitter post with ~ 5s of the song. What an insane extension. Start playing a clip and when the song starts, click the search icon at the top to refresh it's search. Then pause the clip when the song ends. This will stop the extension's recording too and still give you the best result it's found. Be aware that although this extension can find songs in a variety of languages, it doesn't seem to be able to find voiceovers, remixes, etc. Edit: So I've tested this and it seems that you need a pc capable of at least recording and playing at the same time. On my potato pc, it doesn't seem to handle recording well and the extension will warp the audio, crackling and raising it's pitch. This actually affects the audio matching and it won't find anything. Edit 2: If you have the same problem I have and get distorted audio when playing and recording, you can try using the google app's song identifier instead. So i searching a specific song for half an hour because of a little piece of song in some YouTube video and find nothing! and then i find this extension play this little piece of song and it... just found it! in a few seconds!! amazing! and by the way this song was "Another brick in the wall" and this piece of the song was "we dont need no, aducation"
