Reader View extension brings Mozilla's open-source Readability implantation to Chromium. Using this extension you can strip clutters from webpages and read them on "Reader View" mode. The extension allows you to toggle between normal view and reader view by pressing the page-action button.

Note that reader view mode works best for web pages that have a lot of content. There are some tools in the left side panel that can help you personalize your Reader View. You can change color, background-color, font-size, font-family and width of the reader view.

Great for all you can customize and for the simplicity of it all, however, it lacks a way to easily export your highlights -- a Json file in a separate page is too bothersome

Es una canya. Desde que la tinc instal·lada faig que les pàgines web de les que trec informació siguin documents, evitant tot el soroll dels anuncis i continguts afegits que son brossa. Fa anys que necessitava una eina així. L'opció de poder editar el document un cop capturat es el toc final doncs permet per ex. eliminar texts del document original que només tenen sentit en la consulta online pero que son irrellevants en un pdf (per ex. punxa aquí per veure el vídeo)

Amazing! As a student when I'm reading articles and studying from websites, I hate the random clutter on the sides of the page. Reader View removes all the clutter and only keeps whats important. Changing the page colour and the ability to change the font size also adds a nice touch and making reading much easier on my eyes. Overall, highly recommend especially if your doing a lot of researching and reading online.
