When I open a session, why the heck it opens tabs ONE BY ONE? If you have multiple tabs within one session, it takes forever for the Chrome to open everything and eating up RAM pretty fast. Stupid.

As others have said, my sessions and history from the last year or so have been wiped out overnight, and i am not able to retrieve them. This is the second time I have been burned so I am very frustrated, although I'm partially at fault for not constantly backing up my session data. But what's so frustrating/confusing is that, I have multiple chrome profiles, and only this one was affected, so I'm not sure what caused that. Overall, this is not a bad extension when it works, but if you are not constantly backing up your sessions, you may randomly lose everything, possibly from updates or something else. As far as I can tell, the developer is working on preventing this so maybe all hope is not lost, and best of luck to them.

Used to be good an consistent until they've released a new update about a year ago. However, this is not the main reason for one star: today when I re-opened chrome and opened sessionbuddy - all saved sessions which I've been saving for the past 2+ years were completely gone. This coincided with the sessionbuddy update (as there's a banner with a label reading "new" - 4.0.5 release). IndexedDB subfolders (as per instructions on their website) - none of the files were larger than a couple hundred kb and no database files were present which I could use to at least attempt and restore the lost data. Files within subfolders looked like it's a fresh installation of the extension. No idea if there are any usable DB files I can find anywhere on a system now. Absolutely gutted, can't even describe what I'm feeling right now with words. Whoever released that update - maybe you should try testing it properly before releasing!! P.S. Reading other reviews it seems I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. And, no - this has nothing to do with "External processes like disk cleaners", at least in my case

lost all collections. again. but it's ok bc Although rare, there are browser bugs that can lead to inconsistent data, affecting Session Buddy's ability to display collections or history. External processes like disk cleaners may also corrupt data. While there is nothing an extension can do to prevent this, in many cases data is recoverable. We can walk you through the steps to restore it. The next release includes detection and automatic repair of known data corruption scenarios. We're also working on a cloud storage feature that completely eliminates any risks associated with storing data locally.
