No longer autosaves, I now have to manually save a session if I want to come back to it. Also, I just had a crash and that session is gone. In the description above, it says "Recover your open tabs after a crash.". It's not performing it's basic, and most important functionality, so what's the point?. Uninstalled.

It is quite efficient and quick tab session manager. What would really make it better is an auto-update feature for collections,eg: if i open or close tabs in a collection, that change is saved instead of needing to manually update and shift tabs in collections manually. This already might be a feature but i dont know how to enable it.

I throwed a tantrum cause i lost my 160 tabs across several workspaces in opera(my browser of choice) and felt the world ending. A reddit thread reminded me of the existence of this add on. No substance could ever hit me with that much dopamine as when i discovered that past me had installed session buddy and it saved all my tabs.

Session Buddy Review This is possibly one of the best tab manager extensions for Chrome, but it still lacks essential features that could enhance user experience. While Session Buddy does an admirable job of saving sessions, including regular snapshots of open tabs, it falls short in several key areas. Here are a few points where the extension could be improved: Lack of Tab Management Flexibility: The extension’s primary function is to save sessions, but it offers limited control over how tabs are managed within a session. It would be highly beneficial if users could organize tabs by moving or rearranging them directly within the extension. Unfortunately, this isn’t possible, requiring a separate extension for any real tab organization. Tab Groups Not Supported: One of the most frustrating aspects is the lack of support for Chrome’s native tab groups. Every time I restore a session, I lose all groupings, which makes reorganization a hassle. Ideally, the extension should either save tab groups or, at the very least, indicate which tabs were grouped previously, so I can restore them manually with minimal effort. Missing Drag-and-Drop Functionality: Surprisingly, basic drag-and-drop to reorder tabs or collections is absent. This would be an invaluable addition, allowing users to customize the order and organization of their tabs more intuitively within the extension. No Option to Update Saved Collections: Currently, updating a saved session means deleting the old one and creating a new collection from scratch, which is time-consuming. Adding a feature to update existing collections directly would help this process significantly. In summary: Session Buddy has strong potential as a tab manager but would need additional functionality to better support organization and customization. Implementing these improvements could make it an indispensable tool for managing tabs in Chrome.

Had this for YEARS, maybe once a year it will COMPLETELY delete all sessions, no warning (unless your checking for updates) and everything is unrecoverable in user data, unless you back it up often. Just be warned to back up your sessions once in a while.
