Up until the latest update, it was possible to export my saved sessions to several options (csv, json, etc.), but now it's not possible at all! Windows 11/macOS, Chrome and Chrome-based browsers (Brave, Edge) Please enable the "Export" feature and check the reported issue! Thank you.

Lost my entire history on updating to 4.0.2 :( Yes I followed the steps in the FAQ, unfortunately, it appears my session history file is no longer available to be restored. PS. It was not added to the History Tab. My earliest Saved Session is April 1, 2024. -.-

Hi there, the new UI is better but UX need to improve. 1. need to keep cross to delete folder (on hover) 2. need to keep cross to delete single tab (on hover) 3. the button to delete selected should be visible, like Open Selected 4. The new version is so baad.... The old one had so much better clarity of the closed tabs collection... now when I shut my browser I just see snapshots.. that i don't care about.. and need to be searching for my last collection per day.. so need to go down and down in the snapshot column...

OK with 4.0.3 it's getting closer to back to "normal". I'm pushing up to 3 stars and crossing my finger 4.1.4 in the next month or so gets us back to 5 stars. ------------------ I forgot to review the orginal which was awesome however the update is an abomination. Literally all the most used features I loved are gone and/or made vastly more incovenient. Why?? My main use for session buddy was to prune window/tabs live or after a reboot. Now I did discover you can turn back on the 'one-click' delete for tabs (but *not* windows???) on the live session but the history/snapshots (which are now a bit hidden away on the right) have *NO* way to do this. I am so disappointed. This whole extension is now mostly useless to me.

might have had to rewrite the code for google but why change the perfect features? windows are now folders? seems like people are afraid to lose their position and need to make up new names for things to remain relevant. like microsoft changing searches that have been the same for years then make people do extra clicks to end up at the same place. disappointed but will try to figure it out, was soooo simple before.

L'ultimo aggiornamento ha cambiato il modo di usare l'estensione rendendola meno intuitiva, rimuovendo inoltre funzionalità per me essenziali come la possibilità di eliminare singole schede o intere sessioni dalla cronologia. Anche se forse futuri aggiornamenti miglioreranno le cose, trovo inaccettabile un cambio così drastico e difettoso, sembra di usare un'altra estensione.

New version is very bad compared to the old one. I used Session Buddy to quickly port tabs in windows between different instances of browsers: one for general, one for programming, one for fitness, etc. What I used to do is: press on Session Buddy Icon, press on the gear icon in the top right corner, export, it would show me all the tabs in all the windows, copy the list of tabs in the window I want to port or all tabs. Then open Session Buddy in another browser, press gear, import, paste that in, press OK, then open that session immediately. The whole operation took just a few seconds. When I tried to do that just now, it started exporting a whole browser for some reason and it took longer than a minute, which often defeats the purpose, because I can manually port the tabs quicker than in a minute. It wants me to save it to a file: creates garbage on disc. Also, when I just now imported it in another browser, I didn't even get the windows I wanted. It imported some 11 collections(I have only 2 windows opened in the first browser) of god knows what and I don't know how to even get the window from the first browser. I also tried to copy tabs from the first browser: right click on the window, then press Copy button, and then paste it in the second browser: right click on the window and press Paste button, and this feature doesn't work either. Restore the old functionality and let me quickly port the tabs like before. Even better: allow users to downgrade to whatever version they want. It's very annoying that software nowadays forces upgrades on users and doesn't even offer downgrades, so that users can downgrade and not experience bugs and lack of features that older versions provided.

New version is so bad it made me cry- Search is broken (sort of fixed in v4.0.2), cannot undo, cannot bulk edit/remove tabs (sort of fixed in v4.0.2), can't view export text/json data (moved to right click in v4.0.2?), opening private view window tabs restores incorrectly to active non-private window (really a Chrome bug? It worked completely fine in v3), cannot export/backup it "Error exporting collections" (need to enable "File System Access API" in Brave, but this wasn't needed in v3), no more option to override tabs (possibly fixed in v4.02). I keep finding more bugs each time I try to use it. I really wish I could find a support forum or get a response to the Contact Us messages I've left without needing to leave a 0 star review. This used to be a 10-star addon, it is such a shame. Please bring back the features from the old version! Update (3-31-24): v4.0.2 is functioning much better and I appreciate the info on https://sessionbuddy.com/v4-faq. This seems to address most of my issues. Please keep this updated and once my issues are fixed I will update my review & rating. But there are still plenty of other people that have identified other bugs which I have confirmed are major & still present. Please see surrounding posts and address these in the FAQ- thank you.
