Dec 15, 2025: Have been using this extension since around 2022. This extension has really matured, leaving almost none of the functionality v3 behind, while having some new, powerful, and practical new options and functions. Especially loving the new alt+up/down tab/folder moving functions. Hoping for an option to once again see window and tab count for sessions listed in the collections column. Original 2/5 review from Mar 15, 2024: With the v4 update, the extension lost the functionality of manually deleting history/snapshots one by one. becomes a problem when combining the now default hourly snapshots, and the automatic wipes starting at 500 snapshots. Also, less useful without the tab count. I doubt the current state of this app has had any testers. Consider maybe doing something like offering donators a beta version to test run before making it live.

5 stars because I've used this extension for years and I appreciate all the hard work being put into it. (Imagine how awful it must be to put all this work into rewriting an extension only to get bombed with bad reviews from people using your extension for free). However, I do want to say that the reason I installed this extension was for the tab count and it is my favorite feature. Please please please consider bringing it back :)

I used to be a user for 6 years, it is not my buddy now. This update mess up all my saved session and i CAN NOT find how much tabs for each "previous" and "saved" session. I have to click every tabs and check it by myself. If it can't be revert to the old version i will find another new tools to replace the Session Buddy.

Well after one day of use I have to say I'm not enjoying the update at all. For some reason you took away the "overwrite current session " option and the ability to undo deleted session. Now I'm not against updates but you should have released a trial version to see how people respond to it . As the old saying goes " if it aint broke dont fix it". Please revert back to the last version.

I used to love this app, but the new update made it unusable. Don't download this, find sometime else. The sad part is the developer thinks this is a good upgrade & is totally clueless to why everyone here in the reviews HATES the new update, this is very sad indeed. EDIT: The latest update fixed what I wanted the most, but still not better than how it was b4 the first update, still I am grateful that my biggest concern was addressed

Horrible! I've used the old version for years, and it WAS perfect! Now, there are more steps, LOST functionality, and different, nonsensical labels! The export does not work the way it used to, it's now terrible. These are NOT folders, they are SESSIONS, like they used to be. Please let me revert back to the old sessions. And, by the way, I LOST ALL my old sessions. HORRIBLE!!!

Why streamline an app like session buddy? And the streamlining only added more steps to things / took away some functionality. Allow us to use an older version of session buddy.
