OLD REVIEW (2019; rating: 5 stars): THE BEST, SIMPLE & FREE SESSION MANAGER !!! ☺☺☺ ♥♥♥ I have been using this app for years, tried a lot of other Internet Session Managers too. It's a good idea to try regularly new applications, so you can compare them / switch between them if necessary. Anyway, "SESSION BUDDY" is a really excellent, useful & practical one, so it's a good idea to add it to your app collection. -------- MODIFIED REVIEW UNTIL FIX (2024.03.15; rating: 3 stars): The last update broke a LOT of useful features, and this breaks the usefulness of the app (as many other users also mentioned, see other new reviews). I won't list every recent change, just the most outstanding ones for me: ► The logo got changed (the old one was fine, but whatever) ► The design is a bit better looking (I liked the simplicity of the old design too, but whatever) ► REMOVED the browser window count visibility - WHY??? This is a tab manager, why would you remove a core functionality? I generally use 20+ Chrome windows (a lot of other users also have multiple windows), it's really essential to see how many of them are active to manage them / archive stuff that I don't need to stay open. ► The left sidebar is NO longer resizable, so long session names are not visible there properly anymore, WHY??? ► The extension icon does NOT display the tab count anymore, again WHY??? The old review had 5 stars, but for the current version I can give only max 3. Please fix the above issues, and then I can give 5 stars again. Yeah, this is a free app, but if something works well for many years, and has a huge user base, there is no good reason to break it. Please fix these issues, or roll back the unnecessary changes for the sake of the user community. There are other tab managers too in the app store, but it would be a shame to destroy a well working & popular app like this. Friendly message & advice to the developer: THANKS A LOT for your work in the last few years!!! ☺ But PLEASE LISTEN TO FEEDBACK OF THE USERS & COMMUNITY! Several thousands of people use this app a lot on a daily basis, and they genuinely want it to be good like in the last few years... You have the skills to make it awesome again. Best regards. ☺ As a possible alternative solution, PLEASE UPLOAD THE OLD SESSION BUDDY VERSION as something like "SESSION BUDDY CLASSIC" to the Chrome app store! This way people can still have their old, beloved & extremely useful + functional session manager version, and the new version could be developed further independently. --------- *edit: clarification, extra infos

Been using session buddy since past 5 years. With an exception of few minor glitches, it works perfectly fine. Also loved the new dark theme that has been introduced recently. Keep up the good work.

ほぼ毎日、たくさん溜め込んできたのですが、突然のアップグレードでアクセスできなくなり、ここに飛んできたら、新バージョンをダウンロードするしかなく、新バージョンを追加して開いたら、当然のように以前溜め込んだすべてが消えていました。「旧バージョンのデータをインポートできる」というので開いてみたら、「旧バージョンでエクスポートしてあるデータを読み込ませる方法」だった……orz 「アップグレードするので開けなくなります。エクスポートしてください」の表示もなく、突然使えなくなったのに、どうやったらエクスポートしたデータが使えるんですか……？ 星1個も付けたくない

이전 버전의 최고평가 리뷰를 삭제하고 리뉴얼된 제품의 리뷰를 새로 작성함. 리뉴얼된 버전은 최악입니다. 필요 없는 세션을 삭제할수도 없으며, 필요 없는 세션이 자동으로 계속 쌓이고, 필요한 세션이 뒤로 뒤로 밀려서 한참을 찾아야 합니다. 필요한 탭만 놔두고 필요 없는 탭을 삭제해서 정리할수 없게 되었습니다. 가장 중요한 브라우져가 다운되거나 컴이 문제가 생겨 자동저장된 마지막 세션을통해 복구할수 있었는데, 이제는 설정한 시간에 저장하는 방식으로 바뀌었습니다. 저장된 세션을 삭제할수도 없습니다. 아무 쓸모가 없습니다.

I'm having trouble with your extension. It was working fine two days prior, but after the update, things have gone bad so I'm expressing my frustration and disappointment regarding the latest update of the extension. It has caused me to lose all my tabs today. Yesterday I could only restore some of them from my last session while other tabs were blank with the label "new tab". To make things worse, I am now unable to open the extension at all. I now receive the following error message when clicking on the extension: edacconmaakjimmfgnblocblbcdcpbko is blocked This page has been blocked by Chrome ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT I was a big fan of this extension before, and I would have given it four stars. However, after this experience, I am forced to give it only one star. It's unacceptable that after the update, the extension has become completely useless. Like what happened? I was a big fan of this extension before, and I would have given it four stars. However, after this experience, I am forced to give it only one star. I am disappointed and caught off guard by the performance of this extension and I can no longer recommend it to my colleagues and friends. It's a nightmare similar to when Chrome crashes and takes all my tabs with it. Please revert this extension to how it was or provide a swift solution to this chaos.

Was a 5 star and practically indespensible, but when it updated it deleted my last 2 years of sessions, but strangely none before that. My "current session" is dated from November 10 2021. It also doesn't open tabs as cleanly as it use to. All that said, it is still a very useful app, I'm just wonder what happened? Edit: It has not saved any session automatically since I updated to the new version. I would've lost so much stuff if not for ctrl-shift-t and recent tabs built into chrome. This is the worst, most baffling update for a product I've ever had that wasn't made by Google or Microsoft (I don't own Apple devices, or they'd be on the list).
