Important Note: This is a best-effort approach to dealing with Twitch's different website views and has always been an arms race. It's not perfect and it will never be. If you expect the extension to always work flawlessly, don't even bother installing it. Know and understand the limits.

The idea is great, but currently it seems bugged. I got 541 games blacklisted yesterday, and today it's down to 529 with no explonation. This happens almost every day, sometimes with dozens of games disappearing from the list overnight. Edit: following the advice below solved the issue. I'm pretty sure the extension saves me 30+ minutes every week, and it helped me find a bunch of cool content creators I would've never found otherwise.

Ability to block channels hasn't been working for a while. Can only block categories.

great addon, but it looks like its not working anymore? i try to block german/deutsch streams and they are still showing up. thanks for your addon.

2026 update: So i still use this Extension every time i load twitch, however i've noticed it only looks at the 3-4 tags under the stream preview; When a stream could be using like 10 tags, 6 tags could be ones you blocked/hide, but since they aren't on the default page listed with the others, the extension won't block them. (So it would be cool if the extension could somehow read all the Tags or make the twitch page list all the tags then it can filter them out) 2021 original review: I've used this extension a long time, and it worked wonderfully for a long time, i recently did post a negative review as it didn't work for blockin the tags feature, however almost overnight the plugin was updated and working perfectly again; Amazing App and amazing creator. This is gonna come in crazy helpful now that twitch just added 350 new tags for "gender, race, nationality, sexual orientation, ability, and mental health" (If it doesn't work for you, "disable the extension, report the issue and wait for an update.")
