Before this, I was in the habit of having 60+ tabs open at once. Many of them I kept around because I _might_ want to go back and review the information on that page again, but more often than not having that many tabs made Chrome unstable. Tab Wrangler forces me to acknowledge that some of these tabs can go away and I won't miss them. Should a tab disappear that I want to go back to, I can pull it from the recently closed list, so it is something I can easily get back to.

This could be a truly great chrome application...if it worked properly. It seems it only needs a minor fix. The fix consists of actually saving the closed tabs until needed, they simply disappear after a few hours of non use. But the application does reduce memory & cpu requirements dramatically by closing non used tabs and on that basis when i have more than 20 or 30 tabs which i consistently do it works as promised and is great. But Mr. Developer i lose all the saved closed tabs after what seems to be about 5 or so hours. This simple fact renders the app almost unusable for me as i need to refer back to the closed tabs. Please, Please fix this bug, i would even pay for this as it significantly enhances the utility of my underpowered computers significantly (like my laptops and netbooks). Until this is fixed consider the state of this app as a beta version 0.9 *** Updated 1/Nov/12 I've been checking this extension to see if the sleeping tab disappearing act has been fixed and am happy to find that it has, this extension is now indispensable for my browsing activities and helps manage available memory and cpu time very effectively. It is now my #1 extension along with my one click extension manager. Great app kudos to the developer!!

Really good extension. Very well build and simple to use. Couldn't find any way to give feedback, so: *****FEATURE REQUEST - keep list of closed tabs per window, so it would be possible to use it with extensions like "Simple Window Saver" which saves and restores window with all tabs. The use case is I keep separate windows for work, projects, personal browsing and would be great to have history separate as well.
