Black Menu for Google gives you quick access to your favorite Google services with a convenient drop-down menu that lets you use Search, Google+, Translate, and many others without leaving the page you’re on. Click on menu items to get a small windowed preview or click on the open in new button on the right to open them in a new tab.

Customize the menu by pointing at ‘Add’ and dragging/clicking the services you want from a comprehensive list of services. To remove services, drag them to the right to remove them.

Access these and more with Black Menu for Google:

Google Search. Quickly search the web or switch tabs to search for images, books, news, etc.—all within the mini window.

Google+. Share the current page, or check your latest Google notifications. Navigate all of Google+ as you would on a mobile device.

Google Translate. Type or paste text into the box to get a quick translation for that comment you received in a foreign language. View your translate history and save your favorite ones.

It an awesome little extension, but it is EXTREMELY slow. Takes like 5 clicks to get this thing open.

Great extension, great design and very functional. 100% recommendable. Some improvements: * Maps tab should get my current location, or at least the default location defined in Google Maps. For example, I've defined Barcelona as default in Google Maps, but it always shows Madrid, my country's capital. * Google+ and Gmail tab should show am account resume, like in Google Drive or Calendar. And maybe the ability to post messages and send emails. * Translator is good, but I would mimic the Google two box interface, and it should use my preferred languages. * I would add some lag to the tab change on mouse move, because you have to be careful to move the mouse horizontally to enter on the tab contents, if not, the tab changes very quickly. These are just improvements, the extension is really great btw. Good work!

Excellent extension for chrome. Displays more features than the "Shortcuts for Google," but settings is very poor. Excelente extensão para o chrome. Apresenta mais recursos que o "Shortcuts for Google", porém opção de ajuste é muito pobre.

This is one of the better chrome add ones, especially with the black bar remover for google's black nav bar.
