KDP Spy is brought to you by BookBolt.io.

Please follow these steps to install KDP Spy and begin using it.

Step 1: Install the extension in Chrome, click on the icon from the upper right hand corner menu, and log in with your Book Bolt credentials.

Step 2: Head over to Amazon.com (the extension currently works with the USA .com version of Amazon).

Step 3: Enter a keyword into the Amazon search box, and click on the Amazon search button.

Step 4: Once the results populate from your search, click on the KDP Spy extension from your Chrome browser. This will pop up the extension.

Doesn't work. I search and it comes up with NO results.

I see a lot of reviews that say this extension doesn't work, but as long as you have a Book Bolt account, I don't see why it shouldn't work. I absolutely love this Chrome extension, and I use it all the time to do keyword research for my KDP business. I only took off one star because I don't like how when I type in a keyword I'm going for, it brings me a TON of options, many of which are only remotely related to the keyword. And then I have to dig through everything to find the ones I really want. I've been able to combat this by using CTRL+F to search for them, but I'd love if the most relevant ones would be shown at the top. All in all, excellent extension! I'd highly recommend it.

A great tool I have found using this extension beneficial especially when searching for key words. I found out that you have to be using the American version of Amazon (.com) for it to work. So if you are having issues use the .com version and it will work well. It would be great if in the future KDP spy could work on other Amazon websites worldwide for a comparison.

Like others said, it doesn't work. I have a Bookbolt account and was able to log in and get the search function to work the first time, but it would never pop up again. Nothing happens when the extension is clicked. I uninstalled it, turned off adblocker, closed Chrome, reinstalled it, still nothing.

Perfect extension, but the publishing date is not showing anymore ? I just get N/A for every book. Could fix it please ?

I like it! It definitely works, but only on amazon.com If possible it would be great to work for amazon.ca as well... I could be using it wrong on that particular ext. but outside of that it's a great resource

DISHONEST. nowhere here does it say its a paid extension trying to masquerade as a free one when you waste your time installing it. doesn't work just gives you a link to go to a website to register, still doesn't mention you need to pay. When you get to the website its a minimum payment of 10 dollars a month to use it. TOTALLY DISHONEST COMPANY.. wouldn't trust a company that tries this deception

I see a lot of people saying it's not working, but you're probably not using it correctly since it works great for me. Go to Amazon.com and search for a book. After the results are populated, click on the KDP Spy extension icon which will make a box pop-up where you have to click the Start button so that the extension can start retrieving data.
