This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

Clean search results, hope they continue to make this mainstream like chatgpt
Just great. It replaces traditional search engine in 90% cases.

Great for my needs and research. Gives live data that can be used and exported as you like.
SearchGPT is overrated. its text search ability is comparable to google, no major complaints. For your every day searches, SearchGPT will work just fine; however, advanced searching is practically impossible, for example specifying timestamps or making sure specific words are included in the search results. Additionally, image search only gives you around 10 images at a time. Often times these images are not high quality. This has a long way to go. For now I will continue to use a combination of Google, Claude, and ChatGPT
