if you try to search using the address bar, it just opens a chatgpt chat . Instead of a getting a list of websites that are related to the words you put, it instead tries to interpret why you sent it a bunch of random words and tell you about it hey, David Andrade, you can use some this tip: when you search, google have a nofication to ask you about do you want to come back with google and if you want you have to select yes, if no, you select no. i love ChatGPT. It very useful!(If you know how to use) And i'm come from vietnam, 10 years old, i'll have some mistake in my comment, i hope you understand me. Thank for reading

I genuinely have no idea how to use this as there is no trace of openai anywhere in my browser or settings, and the extension itself is greyed out. I was expecting it to add api calls to my browser searches to inject into the google search page or something to that effect, but that didn't happen

Does not work for me at all. It seems to make no effect whatsoever on my browser. I can't !c I can't switch search in the bar, and I can't switch search in settings. All queries still go to Google. It literally does nothing.

Just let us add it as a search engine without making it the default. I'd rather do !c [QUERY] than have to do !g to get back to google. Frustrating as a power user with multiple search engines enabled I use often. Removed extension. Kept query in site search. What a terrible implementation. Like others here I was expecting some clever implementation, but it just turns your search bar into the prompt window and then starts new conversations that you then have to delete from ChatGPT because otherwise it'll clog everything up. They could have maybe made a project folder where all the searches go or made every search a temporary conversation. That would have made sense! But even then, if I want to use ChatGPT to saerch the internet to answer a question then there's a button literally for that in ChatGPT.
