This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

Uzantıyı ekle dedi, ekledim. Ama çalışmıyor. Beni Crome web mağazasına yönlendirmekten başka işe yaramıyor. Saçma sapan bir uzantı. Birşeyler yapmaya çalışmışlar ama işe yaramadıktan sonra ne anlamı var. Güzel yorum yazanlarda trol heralde. Hiçte arama motoru gibi çalışmıyor bu sistem.
Dont see the point in this. Better to just keep a chat gpt tab open since in many cases I only want google. Plus I already have GPT plus also so its not like I hate Chat GPT or anything. This frankly feels like a stupid extension lol. I have seen better extension than this... Would have been better if there was option to just get a sidebar instead with a lot of cool features.
Really good just loved how I search things up.
Had to double check the developer origin for the extension! No settings page or option to fix this: Each new tab in google chrome switches to a blank screen with a single shortcut in the middle of the new page to the chrome store and nothing else, no option to add short cuts either. The standard google chrome grid menu at the top right disappears and so does the quick link for Gmail and Images. The standard google account avatar icon also disappears! Completely interrupts workflows and ease of use with google chrome. Removing extension!!!!!!! Better extensions exists, surprisingly not made by OpenAI
I installed it and no effect on my searches, I checked docs, browser configs, restarted the browser, etc. I see the extension installed and enabled but no effects.
