This extension will make ChatGPT your default search engine in Chrome. Once ChatGPT has been set as your default search engine, you can search directly via your browser URL bar.
ChatGPT You can get fast, timely answers with links to relevant web sources, which you would have previously needed to go to a search engine for. This blends the benefits of a natural language interface with the value of up-to-date sports scores, news, stock quotes, and more. Chats also now include links to sources, such as news articles and blog posts, giving you a way to learn more.
In order to redirect a query to Google search, type "!g [your query]" (e.g. !g foobar) directly in your browser URL bar.

Úplně vyšachuje funkce googlu z Chromu. Nemá žádná nastavení a linkne tě na stránku ChatGPT. Odinstalovávám.
Intéressant, mais trop présent... Il serait intéressant d’avoir une commande permettant d’utiliser Google à la place ou autre (par exemple en mettant /google ou autre).

super annoying that the extension removed the option to search with google. I want the option to search with either chatgpt or google. not have an extension that just hijacks everything

It feels super weird. I would love if there was an option to have both, google search and chatgpt search at the same time. So lets say I type a question and hit enter, and it proceeds to the regular google search, but also the right half (or quarter) of the screen shows me chatgpt search results.
Google search sucks, but chrome ChatGPT sucks more.
Going back to that dark ChatGPT chat section with every Search in the address bar won't be a good idea. Be like Google Gemini that works along with Google Search or Stop this. I really don't like this extension. While ChatGPT itself is a 10/10
If you install this extension it will take over google search. You cannot google search anything. Chatgpt is useful but obviously you need to use google for many different tasks. This could potentially be very useful if it was an add on similar to google Ai's small textbox whenever you searched an item that popped up, but taking over the search bar and redirecting to chatgpt.com is absurd.
