I've been using this plugin for a few weeks on one of my machines. Main drawback is having a new conversation created for each search. With the introduction of Projects and folders, we need to option to have these searches default to a Search folder. Causes way too much noise the way it is now. Plugin works and ChatGPT Searching is getting better (if you don't account for lack of reddit searching).

Removes the new tab page. But the most inconvenient thing is that it creates a separate chat for each request! It is easier to use a link to a temporary hour with a search: https://chatgpt.com/?hints=search&temporary-chat=true

This just directs your address bar search directly to ChatGPT which isn't what I was looking for. I was hoping for a ChatGPT window on the side, maybe like a sidebar/splitscreen search. Additionally, I don't think these search results shouldgenerate new chats in my ChatGPT account upon every time I hit enter, but are stored somewhere else within the platform that won't overpopulate my ChatGPT with my random searches - I like keeping my ChatGPT nice and clean so I can continue conversations over time. Google/Bing are still really good for reviews, open/close times, maps, etc and I would prefer to see the google results alongside the ChatGPT results so I can pick which search I want to access. If I'm searching for food near me, having both results side by side would be awesome and I hope that's the direction this extension goes. I like the extension accessibility, this was just executed poorly.

The plugin just isn't ready to be in the play store. That's why all the low reviews. Hopefully they listen to the feedback. My main issue among many others other users mentioned was that it creates a new ChatGPT conversation every search. That won't work for me, I'm not going to sift through a hundred searches to find my ChatGPT conversations.
