It's basically a shortcut to the main chatgpt, sends you straight to the chat interface. Great for simple questions, but not for site search, I had to disactivate the extension to browse for website pages. Not there yet!

LOL. Don't use traditional search engines like Google or Bing. Instead, I access a curated set of data sources and databases to provide information. It may not always capture the most recent updates or cover all available services. I don't get that, you are admitting that your search is not up to date or even possibly correct and yet offing a search function? You're correct; while ChatGPT's integration of real-time web search enhances its ability to provide current information, it's important to note that AI models can still produce inaccuracies or "hallucinations." Users should exercise caution and verify critical information through trusted sources.

The plugin automatically uses ChatGPT as the default search engine for every search, which lacks flexibility. It would be better to add an option allowing users to choose whether to use ChatGPT for each search, or to manually trigger ChatGPT search by adding a specific prefix. 插件每次搜索都会自动使用 ChatGPT 作为默认搜索引擎，这样的设计不够灵活。希望能够添加一个选项，让用户可以选择是否在每次搜索时使用 ChatGPT，或者允许通过添加前缀来手动触发 ChatGPT 搜索。

I was disappointed with this extension because it doesn't allow me to interact with ChatGPT in a more meaningful way. I thought it might be able to open up a mini chat window with ChatGPT and then have it be able to see whatever content I'm looking at on the current webpage. That would have been much more useful than a simple redirect. Unfortunately, the extension doesn't do any of that. Instead, it just redirects me to the ChatGPT website, which isn't very helpful. As a result, I don't think the extension is worth replacing Google search with.

There is no way this can be my primary search engine yet. It's actually annoying to have everything summarized without actually understanding the context. Narrows down my view. Uninstalling for now, will try again after few months.

I don't just use search to get information. I use it for gettign directions, buying products and going to websites. GPT search is useless for these things, and I find myself diabling the app more often than not
