Good for what it is designed for; quick memo style videos. Intuitive and efficient workflow. Use it mostly to replace written email and for recording my grading of university papers. Using Record for capturing grading is faster and has more detail and nuance than writing grading comments. Students say it is like having me in the room reading their paper with them. I have used video grading off and on over the years but the tools were always too time consuming to warrant the effort. Vimeo Record provides a simple solution. Well done Vimeo.

The Dec 13 update includes the mind boggling stupid record pause image in bottom right of screen. It completely kills the app's ability to do training videos without lots of post production edits. Who was the genius? If it is about privacy, make it a user option as the user is liable not vimeo. I need to get a replacement straight away as we are in the middle of training video production....thanks Vimeo....

Lo malo es que solo graba Audio del Micrófono y no tiene opción de usar el sonido de sistema, por lo que si grabas otro vídeo desde la pantalla (musical o conferencias) la calidad del sonido es pésima y se ensucia con el ruido ambiente, todo lo demás anda bien, pero ese detalle me hace preferir "Grabador de pantalla y Editor de video" de Hippo Video, con el que puedo grabar el sonido interno sin necesidad de tener micrófono. Ojala mejoren ese punto.
