It works great, but my speakers are pretty trash so I couldn't pump it up as much as I want. That is no fault of the extension itself though, I would be careful with it though - you don't want to blow out your speakers by pushing them too far. Five stars, the slight increase that my speakers can handle before crackling is good enough and I imagine if I had better ones this would do a phenomenal job.

Awesome work around to not having more powerful/louder speakers available. Gives you a bit of "extra" volume to help compensate for videos that may not have the audio boosted loud enough to hear. That could be due to lack of audio equipment strength, or the sometimes unavoidable ambient noise you have to listen to while watching videos.

Makes chrome lag very badly, and i cant put youtube in fullscreen, because it tells me to press F11, which is for putting chrome itself in full screen, not the youtube player...

A monkey could have written better code, and probably has. Very obvious lack of garbage collection. It's as if someone discovered that a CPU can process instructions, and spent 5 minutes writing leaky, unoptimized code that would immediately get you fired from any real world position. The turn off button doesn't even work, hence the complaints of busted speakers from users who don't understand that "boosting" means to go above the maximum. I hope the creator of this extension will come back one day to see how much everyone hates his work. Because it's awful. Absolutely awful.
