TTM expands the main video view and moves the chat box to the right hand side. Additionally, all other on-screen elements get hidden. All changes revert upon leaving theater mode.

it works as intended
Compared to another extension that does a similar thing, this just doesn't compare anymore.
Thank you, been really missing this on youtube. One suggestion, add a shortcut to Esc to exit theater mode, I'm sure there are a lot of people who use Esc to get out of theater mode on twitch.
Exactly what I was looking for
Not perfect, as with twitch, using a tall/narrow window places the chat underneath the video while this extension doesn't support that. Nor does it become video only on really small windows. So it isn't too compatible with, say, tiled tabs in Vivaldi. When it works the way I want it though, it's pretty useful and it's the one feature from Twitch that I miss the most when watching YouTube. Good extension.
