Dark Mode and Dark Reader makes all the websites you browse into dark/night mode so that you can browse the internet without straining your eyes. It is an extremely useful chrome extension for those who use internet especially at night.
The Dark theme extension. Works with all websites!
You need to refresh all the tabs, which were opened BEFORE the dark reader was installed. You can also restart the Chrome to refresh all the tabs at once. Otherwise, dark mode and night shift mode will work only with the newly opened tabs.
If the website has built-in night theme, you can control it directly from extension and if it doesn't like Gmail, Google Docs, Office Online, GitHub and millions others, we will convert the colors to provide you with smooth transition on dark mode.
What will you get from Dark Reader extension:
1. An easy way to create dark mode on every website. In addition, you can customize your black theme visual from Brightness, Contrast, to Saturation.

Por el momento me va funcionando, para las imagenes no mucho, pero voy acostumbrandome, y uso el Shift+Alt+D para cambiando cuando no me gusta..
Update: 11/21/24 Cool so now the extension is disabled until I rate it even though I already did exactly a month ago. What a stupid extension. Original 10/22/24 I wouldn't call this true dark mode. It simply reverses colors, including photos, which makes picture-heavy websites (ie. Amazon) difficult to use with dark mode enabled. On a positive note, I do appreciate the blacklist/whitelist feature that allows you to default dark mode to on/off and then add URLs to a list that prevents those sites from changing modes. But even with this feature, the field to add URLs to Whitelist mode (which defaults to dark mode off and allows you to select which URLs to enable dark mode) is blocked by the "Rate Us!" button. This means after adding 5 URLs to your whitelist, you can no longer click on the add URL field as it's hidden behind the "Rate Us" button. This forces me to use the Blacklist mode which forces me to add URLs of the website that I want dark mode default off. This is tedious as there are way more websites that I want dark mode off than I want dark mode on.
