Amazing. Every option I thought Google's Bookmark Organizer was missing, and it happens instantaneously. I have hundreds of bookmarks & yet the instant I clicked "save" on the options menu, the were all sorted exactly as I requested. :) Thank you for making this!!!

Absolutely fantastic! Just keeps your bookmarks ordered alphabetically as you add them. Thanks a lot for the option to not sort the bookmarks bar itself!

I like this extension, but had to disable it after receiving this note from Google Support re my Chrome not syncing across devices: "... we've found out that two of your extensions cause issues with Sync: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/unofficial-google-bookmar/dhkeiaaimpifdppinlokmgolcnnnlnfa?hl=en (Unofficial Google Bookmarks) https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/sprucemarks/fakeocdnmmmnokabaiflppclocckihoj?hl=en (Sprucemarks)" Is it possible that Sprucemarks can contribute to this problem?

Does exactly what I want. I want everything within the bookmarks bar sorted, but not recursively, and it has that option. When I add a new folder to the bookmarks bar it is automatically in the correct position. Very nice.

After noticing that bookmarks will not sort anymore, only when I checked to discover its no longer free you will now need to donate, although I would have gone with donating, i noticed over the years that it got pretty slow and ill have to go and have to hit the options for it to sort again, I found a better extension that actually is faster and works every time and free I will stick to the free version, i dont mind paying but it has to work the way it should not sometimes and with a paid version who knows what will happen latter down the road. took off some stars for this. update--- Feb 2020 This is what everyone is looking for straight organizing A-Z the best bookmark organizer for chrome period. Thanks to the developers for answering this cry.
