Simple and effective! Has options for what to sort and what to leave alone (if you like having your bookmarks bar in a certain order, for instance.)

This is great, thanks! I'd been annoyed with Chrome not ordering the folders and links, and not even allowing me to order them either, but this works a treat. I had to enable and disable, and change the options back and forth in Sprucemarks before it did actually order my Other Bookmarks folders correctly but now it has. I hope they don't revert on reopening Chrome!

Love it. This is my one must have extension for chrome.

I like the ability to sort my bookmarks automatically, but this extension has a couple of problems: It doesn't work well with Sync - even with the "Sync compatibility" option selected, I've noticed deleted bookmarks reappearing when I re-start Chrome. The option to exclude the bookmarks bar from sorting does not apply to sub-folders on the bookmarks bar. This means you can't use it with extensions that update a folder with date-based blog topics (such as Foxish Live RSS). As mentioned in other reviews, it automatically sorts all bookmarks immediately when installed, before you've been given the opportunity to change any settings. This is a bit of an annoyance if you didn't want your bookmarks bar sorted. All in all, I like the idea, but I had to disable it. It needs some work.
