Microsoft Bing Search with Rewards

Microsoft Rewards is brilliant, I've used it for years and will continue to use it. This extension is, however, completely pointless. I was hoping it'd have a pinned Chrome extension icon so I could click on that from any site and see what the rewards activities were for that day which is what is implied by the fact it's an extension, but just about all it does is set your default search to Bing and then you can see your rewards info from there as usual (and also scrapes data behind the scenes on every website you visit, by default). You may as well just type in bing.com to get the same effect while keeping Google as your default search if that's your preference, or just ignore the extension and change your default search to Bing if you like. As an extension, it's utterly pointless almost to the point of dishonesty.

I have added this extension only to stop being asked to add the extension. But it hasn't worked because i still get asked to add this stupid extension that i don't actually want. Surely Microsoft can sort this out? A year later and it still hasn't been fixed by the incompent people at Microsoft.

I've been using Bing for 5 years and gotten $350.00 bucks worth of goodies from Amazon gift cards. When Miro$oft quits paying, I'm done with them. Privacy on the web is a joke, there is none! Micro$oft,Google, Facebook, Apple, Amazon, etc. they know who we are. Sure, you can lock yourself down, but if you use one of their free services, they've gotcha. I look at it as Bing, (Micro$oft) is paying me for my data. Besides, I got my eye on a new Makita drill.
