🌄 Theme background
When Clear New Tab is installed and "Theme background" mode is selected, the backgrounds of themes you install from the Chrome Web Store will automatically download and appear in the new tab. If the theme background appears too large or small, you can fix it by setting "Background size" to "Cover the screen."

Upload your own background (image, GIF, or video) or choose a custom color to display in the new tab page.
🔁 Cycle through different backgrounds

please add an option to change the new tab icon in the tab bar.. the picture/gallery icon I don't think it suited.
Totally love it, but is there anyway to leave the videos and audio continue running while not having the tab focused? And for a way to have the video/audio not reset every time I leave the tab and come back?
Works perfectly and I am so glad I can see my Chrome background without any app shortcuts in the way. When Chrome updated to include the footers at the bottom, the devs immediately responded telling us how to restore the clean interface.
it's currently glitching
This is great, exactly what i was looking for, to get an awkward sized picture into the new Tab, easy 5 stars thank you.
So far so good. I wanted to open a new tab in Chrome without the AI or search bar showing up. This ext does the job.
Before the image loads, the tab flashes with a bright white. Even if I set the global background to black.
it took way to long to find this godly extention, google; you shoulda just made removing the search bar apart of the settings.

Looks good, but i would like to still be able to see the bookmarks on the new tab screen, wich renders the extension itself useless for me
