With the Houzz button, you can get inspired by beautiful home design every time you browse the web. Open a new tab and you’ll see a gorgeous home design photo from Houzz.
You’ll view stunning kitchens, dreamy spa bathrooms, relaxing bedrooms, cozy living spaces and breathtaking landscapes.
The button also lets you save photos from other websites to a Houzz ideabook. See a kitchen or sofa you love on the web? Just click the button and save the image to view later on Houzz.
Add the Houzz button to install both features. You can easily turn off either one at any time.

How invasive...if I wanted this as my tab page, I would have already added it. I am deleting this now.
extension was great until someone at Houzz was absent minded enough to think that hijacking browser tabs was a good idea. reported.
It was great until the update took over my new tabs page. I found the button to disable that function, but after a few minutes it came right back. This is terrible.
Disabled it because it not only hijacks new tab page it conflicts with other extensions if i disable new behaviour that redefines new tab - it prevents other "new tab" extensions from working and just shows google page
Just disabled this extension after having used it for multiple years. The tool now hijacks your browser and opens new tabs to the Houzz website... a little evil, IMO. Nope... "Surprise! "New Feature"." Too bad, I thought the previous functionality of the applet was quite convenient. I've reported this extension as abuse.
Same complaint: the new automatic update hijacks the new tab page - trying to resolve it a very annoying time waster. Thank you to the previous reviewers - I should have checked here first! The extension has the option to disable the New Tab functionality, but the disable function does not work properly. If disabled, 'new tab' reverts to Google search, and enabled new tab extensions (in my case Awesome New Tab) fail to work. I had to completely disable the Save to Houzz extension in order to regain use of Awesome New Tab. This type of error should have been identified and fixed in testing PRIOR to release.
Great tool to help you save ideas from any website. You can easily turn off any functionality you don't need (like the images in new tabs).
Terrible. Highjacks the new tab page. A simple utility that has been stuffed up by over reaching. Just let people save pictures!
i used to like the Houzz extension except the most recent automatic update to Version 2.0 introduced new MALWARE-like behaviours without any warning; including hijacking the default Chrome New Tab behavour. it took me weeks trying to figure out what happened to my browser settings - i thought i was infected with MALWARE ..... i now know the MALWARE was the new Houzz V2.0 i have reported this extension as ABUSE to Chrome Web Store Extensions people
One of the newer updates decided to change my home page. When I changed the setting to not direct my home page to houzz, it broke the New Tab function (with the recently visited links) of Chrome.
