This is where News Feed Eradicator comes in.
News Feed Eradicator removes the most addicting part of Facebook, Twitter and other social networks - the feed - and replaces it instead with an inspirational quote. You can still use the other functionality as usual, you just won't get sucked into the attention hole.

Love it except for one thing - it needs a hotkey or something similar that I can use to disable it if needed. Thanks.
Reminds me to stop wasting time. It actually increased my productivity! Mark Zuckerberg's evil masterminds only want to maximize the time you stay on Facebook by making you keeping scrolling, watching stupid videos and worthless news. Now there's nothing to scroll :)

Perfect. Exactly what i needed!
Love it - but it is missing a single feature, and this is the difference between a 3 star and a 5 star extension (and, yes, I consider this to be worth a 2-star deduction). It needs a extension button to make it easier for me to enable/disable it - OR - the ability to have non-sync'd settings. That way I can have it on at work, but off at home.
I use it for quite some time now, it probably saved me a couple of thousand of hours so far, especially because I got a f* up ADHD and the fb newsfeed had me stuck to it before I knew it, every time I would open facebook.
THIS IS SO USEFUL :D AWESOMEEE!!
I really like this app! One suggestion I have is an option menu that would allow people to add their own quotes, individually or through CSV or something. I would love to be able to add personal quotes and reminders to it!
