This is where News Feed Eradicator comes in.
News Feed Eradicator removes the most addicting part of Facebook, Twitter and other social networks - the feed - and replaces it instead with an inspirational quote. You can still use the other functionality as usual, you just won't get sucked into the attention hole.

It just works.
This is my first time writing a review on an extension, and only because I feel like I can breathe the biggest sigh of relief. I use FB primarily for groups and often find myself in a cortisol-dopamine, scroll-addicted state. This has cleaned FB up for me and I feel less agitation already. Found out about this extension in a Reddit thread. THANK YOU!
What can I say, it's a Godsend for my productivity! Now if only there was an Eradicator for my social media phone apps then life would be perfect! ^_^

Worked great for a couple of years. Now it's blocking Marketplace though, which is the one thing on FB that I use. Would be good to get a fix. Cheers

Muy buena! En mí caso la utilizo en Facebook y me ayuda a no distraerme de lo que necesito hacer. A los desarrolladores de Facebook no les interesa el uso de tu tiempo, su objetivo es que pases la mayor cantidad de tiempo utilizando la plataforma. La extensión ayuda a combatir esto :)
