This is where News Feed Eradicator comes in.
News Feed Eradicator removes the most addicting part of Facebook, Twitter and other social networks - the feed - and replaces it instead with an inspirational quote. You can still use the other functionality as usual, you just won't get sucked into the attention hole.

It's simply essential! I like having Facebook around but used to spend way too much time scrolling down the news feed. Newsfeed eradicator saved me a lot of time, and I feel much less angry now. Would recommend it to anyone!
It is not work 100%. If you see right side of the nav bar area will show you Facebook Ads which is unwanted & disturbing. But, the developer of this extension showing it as blur which is not a true commitment with users. Not useful as expected.
Been using over 5 years and i still love it! What's not to like? low on resources, spectacularly effective, and constantly improrving and expanding
On Youtube, it blocks the sidebar videos even when I pause it for 5 minutes.
THANK YOU FOR MY TIME BACK! Love love the "timed" option! I get discrete chunks of news feed indulgence, and when it's done, game OVER! Back to enjoying my real life. So grateful for this app, for being able to get messages/events w/o getting sucked into the daily dramas!
Love it. YouTube have changed from Trending to Explore and this app no longer blocks it. Can you please update thank you very very much.
