Do NOT like this new update. The app was perfect. I would've paid $5 for it if you charged me. Now it sucks. The new "box" is gawdy and ugly, and yes, I turned off the toolbar, it's still twice and size and super obtrusive. It's broken to where if I put hide "feed" in Reddit it hides the feed for all subreddits. It messed up the way my Youtube UnHook works. I could go on. Can't you just leave things alone?

Been using happily for ages, then all of a sudden it gets a solid box around it with multiple buttons and it looks ugly like it doesn''t belong there now and it now loads the feed (blurred) with the scroll bar being tiny where it just simply wasn't there before. The old version had the same background as facebook and looked like it belonged, not just a big box slapped in the middle of the webpage New update is horrible - I also don't want to have options to click to allow me to snooze it Please don't give me that temptation -EDIT Thank you for fixing it, although a big huge update like this should have had v3.0.1 in it before release, transparency should have remained default, and i can't think of any reason we would want the feed we're trying to get rid of to be blurred and visible, but thank you for allowing us to get rid of that once again

Absolutely great app! But the new version, I am seeing stories on Facebook eventhough it's disabled in the extension & sometimes instagram displays "Sorry, something went wrong." altogether. If these can't be fixed, please rollback.

The latest update was a step backwards. I really liked the ability to fully blackout my home page, so I couldn't see any attention grabbing content. Now it's a transparent effect that allows me to see the videos on my home page. I cant even understand the logic for this as a toggleable feature, the whole point of this software was to eradicate distractions from my feeds. Having the ability to make the feed transparent does not help accomplish that goal at all. In fact I would argue that this feature would actually increase the amount people would get distracted compared to how it used to be with this extension fully blacking out the home page on YouTube.

I don't know why software developers come out with a good product, get bored with it and feel like they need to reinvent the wheel with a ridiculous completely overhauled update that no one asked for. I've used this extension for a long time with no hiccups then the new 3.0 version came out with a gaudy interface that doesn't fit in with anything. Trying to figure out how to keep 2.3 going without it automatically updating to this new awful version. It seems like that's the way all software is going nowadays unfortunately, stuff I've used for years and was perfectly operational for my needs gets completely overhauled with forced updates seems like this is yet another one.

After 4 Feb 2026 update, the "eradicator" still shows a blurred version of the news feed, which is a significant distraction. Prior to this update I really liked this extension.
