DO NOT USE THIS ADDON, IT IS SPYWARE AND MONITORS EVERYTHING YOU DO! This really needs to be mentioned more, as most people aren't aware of this and I feel it's their right to know about it. They're using very shady tactics to fool users and hide the fact that they are doing this. This review is a bit long, but there's a lot going on that people should know about. I'll suggest a safe alternative to this addon at the end, as I don't want to put it at the beginning and make people think I'm just trying to advertise for it (I don't, and can't, benefit from suggesting it anyway. It's open source, meaning it's free to all and no one actually owns it). The purpose of writing this review is to inform people of what this addon is doing without their knowledge, as I believe everyone has a right to privacy and this addon couldn't care less about yours. The original developer sold this addon back in 2016 to a web analytics company (the current owner). The company quietly added spyware functionality into it without ever saying a word about it or asking for user consent to monitor you. They got banned from web extension stores due to it. They've since added a consent popup and were unbanned, but you can tell from the popup that they're essentially forcing users to unknowingly consent to let them monitor you. It has multiple "yes" options when asking for your consent (such as "Agree," "Coolio," "Yup," "Absolutely," etc.), but not a single clear option to not consent (such as "No or "Decline"), nor is there even a link to their privacy policy on it. It's equivalent to someone asking you "do you consent," without telling you what you're consenting to and that the only answer you can choose is "yes." It was clearly designed this way on purpose and is their workaround to be able to, essentially, continue to monitor without consent, while being enough to get it unbanned. As far as what it monitors, it monitors everything you do in the web browser and sends it to them. This includes the websites you visit, what you're doing on the website (such as what you're looking, clicking on, or what files you're downloading), what device you're using, where you're located, what applications you have installed, etc. The list goes on and on. All of this information is used to create a unique profile that's associated with you and is shared and sold to companies like Facebook and Twitter, as well as well as advertising companies and other third party tracking companies that use the data collected from this extension to monitor you. A quick internet search will provide results that discuss and prove all of this. Even their privacy policy now talks about it, but they try to hide it so that you don't know (it's not on the consent popup and their website keeps automatically generating more content as you scroll so that you can't easily scroll to the bottom of the page to find a link to it). Another thing that 100% shows they are trying to hide that they're monitoring you is that, instead of a clear opt out button somewhere (there is none), their privacy policy states you can opt out of a little bit of monitoring (like 5% of what they monitor) by disabling the "Show number of styles active for the current site on the toolbar button" option in the settings. There is no way anyone would know that without reading through the privacy policy. The other 95% of things that they monitor do not have an opt out option. If you want an addon like this, use Stylus. It's a fork of this extension that was created with privacy in mind and it doesn't collect any data from users. It's open source, allowing anyone to view the code to see what it's doing. Many people have done exactly that and verified Stylus is safe and not spying on you (unlike this addon). It doesn't have as "pretty" of an interface as this addon, but the core functionality is the same (being able to style/theme websites) and it supports all the themes you are already using.
