Therefore it is NOT possible to customize scrollbars on these sites from this extension. Google™ has good reasons for this so as long as they are keeping up for these restrictions, we cannot offer our options on said sites.

It's showing pop windows ads now when opening Chrome

Mostly works well, however on some sites it injects a `d-splash` <section> and makes the entire page unscrollable, it's essentially an overlay image, and I don't know why it's there. Example: go to forum (dot) freecodecamp (dot) org and you'll see what I mean.

It worked OK for some use cases but made my Chrome browser unscrollable in many instances. Not finding it very useful for my own use but do evaluate for your use cases. And if your chrome does not scroll for some website then disable this extension.

This Scrollbar Customizer extension is a GREAT idea. Unfortunately, it does NOT work in all cases, and often not where it is most needed. For example, it does NOT work when in Chrome and in Google Drive, where the Google Drive scrollbar styling "very skinny and automatically disappearing scrollbars" persists, regardless of the settings in Scrollbar Customizer. For this extension to be truly helpful, it must be made to be more powerful, and support setting such as "always show scrollbars and always disallow automatically disappearing scrollbars". Another necessary feature would be for this extension to have a setting saying "always use my Scrollbar Customizer settings for all scrollbars" and etc. I really wished this extension would work, but it does not. I am on Windows 11 fully patched. I am using the latest version of Chrome as of now fully patched. I would gladly pay for the "always show scrollbars" feature and the "always use my custom scrollbar style" here. Thanks.

I had trouble seeing the scroll buttons, because they are so light gray. This app allowed me to change the color to be a little darker, though it would have allowed a range of colors (I don't want the button to be too obtrusive). It even can change width, height, appearance, etc. Admittedly, it took me a minute or so to figure out how and what to change, but, after that, it was smooth sailing! Great job!
