Works! Long sessions are slow no more! My longest chat was starting to take many minutes at each turn of the chat, and after installing ChatGPT Lightsession, those turns are back to being measured in seconds. Thanks for this extension!!!!!!!

Outstanding performance improvements (I'm on Brave browser). Takes what would previously be literal minute delays between ChatGPT's response and the rendering on screen down to seconds, even in large context windows of hundreds of messages built up over several days. Why OpenAI haven't addressed this issue themselves is beyond me, but if they want to compete with Gemini, let's see what their GPT 5.2 can do when it (allegedly) comes out tomorrow (the 11th). Anyway, highly recommended for anyone struggling with longer conversations that require GPT's "Thinking" mode especially.

OMG! I've been having insane lag the last 6 days or so, to the point that ChatGPT is almost unusable. As a ChatGPT Business subscriber, I was starting to research which other LLM to switch to and planned to cancel my subscription after switching. This extension is the ONLY reason I did not did so. It has 100% fixed the problems I was having and I can now perform all ChatGPT functions I was doing this past week without any delay. WOW. OpenAI should buy this extension or at least give the author a sizable bug bounty for their efforts. Maybe they already have a fix and aren't releasing it until the next update or whatever. But even then, they would still be hemorrhaging users until that release happened regardless!

Works. great and indeed, it does dramatically increase the speed of the chat without slowing down texting ability or the processing time. Great extension, and I wish I had installed it sooner to save me the headaches.
