It does nothing. I doubt it's even a Google app. Removing from Chrome if I can.
First, I see that this extension was "remotely added by Google". I didn't ask for it! Second - I have to 'enable it' to put in a review when I think it should be enough of a privacy invasion forcing it on me that I should be able to put in a review Third - I enabled it and the overview for it on the extensions page is about "Green Gardening" not even the correct overview for the extension. (If that is supposed to be an example of how it works on a real page, then it doesn't show that either). So much for having an invasive nonproductive extension when they can't even keep their links correct. Fourth - read the fine print - it doesn't promise to block anything really, doesn't stop datascraping. In fact, it makes me wonder if I didn't just give them MORE permission (if that's even possible) to datascrape by installing it. If I choose OPT OUT in privacy settings, why do I need to add anything? If Google can't handle opting out then at least don't have the false promise of doing so in browser settings.
Useful for those who don’t block ads altogether but don’t want to be tracked, but the Firefox version still needs to be updated to work with Firefox Quantum.
