Easy to use once you figure out the setup. Step-by-step instructions with pictures are available on the wallabag website. I only wish it polled my wallabag instance for pre-existing tags so I could choose from a list.
Works for me, the trick was to first open the url of my wallabag server in the browser and login in. Then I open the settings of this addon, added the url, "check url". Then I added my username and password and "Get token".
Goodbyte pocket welcome wallabagger! Just a tad confused as the instructions are extremely limited. To make this work you need to install HTTPie Library After installing it, the extension on vivaldi, there is no banner prompting the downloading api message (or something like this) Read here. https://app.wallabag.it/developer/howto/first-app
Can't get the URL to verify. Not even clear what the URL should even be. very poor install doco.
I really want this to work, but the documentation is so chaotic and incomplete that I can't figure it out. I got one step closer to filling in the parameters and secrets by first downloading a file, then filling in the parameters and then uploading it... at least then you get to see the fields that the manual shows... but there is no way to find out what URL you have to fill in if you are on the hosted version. I tried all possible combinations I could find, but it's a mystery what you would have to fill in there. I'm sure it works when you have the right configuration...there is no way of finding out what that is unfortunately because none of the docs will tell you.
This extension does not work on Chrome for me. It is impossible to verify the URL and therefore the boxes to enter the tokens do not appear. One Firefox, the extension works correctly, so it's not me. Is the Chrome extension even manifest V3?
Similar to Pocket, but you can (optionally) host your own server. Less polished, but it does the job, and you know your bookmarking choices aren't being fed into a recommendation algorithm. This extension makes it easy to save the current page to read later, with optional tagging in the save dialog. And it can save the content from the page you're viewing now, which is helpful for sites with login walls. Setup is a bit clunky, but at least you only need to do it once.
Doesn't work, there's no way to get the "verify url" to work, it's unusable.
As a user of wallabag.it via browser I just wanted to do it more easily via extension. However the explanations about client-ID, client-Secret whatever and the extension: URL and some JSON but nothing from the webpage corresponds to anything in the extension. So I just had to uninstall the extension. It doesn't explain how to connect my account with the extension at all.
Excellent, does exactly what I want.
