It does what it is told! I was so stressed and disturbed by seeing flexing videos in which people showed off their wealth: money, luxury cars, homes, and expensive watches. So this app really helps me to alleviate my anxiety and find peace of mind. It will be much better if we can hide the label "Reels and short videos" as well, so there's no remaining trace of this feature existing!
Does exactly what it says and as the current app's main photo shows: When you first go to Facebook.com, you can see the "Reels" block with the tops (in my case) of three reels, as usual, but, the app makes them "disappear," leaving only the "title," so you can see that it worked (and, if necessary, know to disable the app to make the appear, as if the app weren't there). Now, I no longer am faced with vapid, inane, useless, pointless - - my thesaurus just burst into flames! ;) - - vids staring at me, daring me to waste time on them. I've asked Facebook for a way to disable them via the settings, but, my guess is, there is some monetary kick-back from their source(s), so, that will never happen. Thank you for such a simple and effective app! :)
