[EDIT] Please ignore the comments that are dated after April 26th saying it does not work when it does in fact work as intended on May 12th, 2026 as I edit my review. This includes the default "Inside the Box" option which did not work prior April 24th no thanks to Youtube updating their player which has caused many similar extensions to stop working. I am using Brave Browser updated to current version which is based on Chromium by the same thing running Chrome. If you find that the "Inside the Box" option is not displaying the thumbs down number try going to the option and choose "Floating Box" then refresh the youtube player. Then chose "Inside the Box" option, I had to do this to make it display again. Thanks to the developer for taking the time in updating their extension for the many of us who still finds this useful and important for our overall youtube experience. Updated my review to 5 stars thanks to the developer adding a much needed function which was fading away the thumbs-down when it displays at top-left of the video when choosing "floating box" option. On short videos it displays the counter on the left side and fades away regardless of what option you chose. Working as intended especially for those who are avid short video watchers. I believe the fade out at its default is good enough for me. ---------------------------------- old review; Working as of April 24th, 2026, however it is only the "Floating Box" option that is working and not default "Inside the Box" where the youtube dislike would be. While you can press the thumbs down button no count numbers are displayed before or after pressing it. However, if you choose "floating box" it will pop on the left side of the youtube video a small rounded rectangle shape with the usual bright red youtube shows up with the thumbs down count number. It is the width of my avatar icon to the letter "d" of my user name but smaller in height. Why I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 is because the "Floating Box" displays the thumbs down is great and all but it remains there and in the way of the video throughout. If it were possible to add a function so it can fade out of view or a close button on it that would be great.
