Free and unlimited password manager to keep your login credentials safe and manage them directly in your browser.
Get the password manager created by the former scientists who met at CERN behind Proton Mail, the world’s largest encrypted email provider. Proton Pass is open-source, end-to-end encrypted, and protected by Swiss privacy laws.
Pass offers more than other free password managers and has no ads or data collection. You can use it for free forever on all your devices to create and store unlimited passwords, autofill logins, generate 2FA codes, create email aliases, secure your notes, and more.
* Protect your logins and their metadata with battle-tested end-to-end encryption
While many other password managers only encrypt your password, Proton Pass uses end-to-end encryption on all your stored login details (including your username, the website address, and more).
* Audit Pass’s open-source code

8.5 Stars. The overall functionality of Proton and its backbone are astonishing. As soon as my old password manager is loaded onto the list. Proton will be my future, as well as friends and family. I squandered an opportunity to move to Proton a couple of years ago. I would If I could reach...kick myself. There is not another complete package of email, encryption, safety, ease or support that you will ever see. I know longer have to think about the protection of my data, because is auto-freaking-Matic. Thank you !
Great! Works really smooth and as someone would expect. I had the 1Password client before and also tried the Bitwarden client for a short period, but like the Proton Pass extension the most.
selecting a password manager is complicated matter. you want efficiency, portability but above all security, privacy & confidentiality FISA Section 702 allows US government to see any data, originating from any country, if the company managing them is US-based. This disqualifies every US Proton competitors This reason enough would have made me use proton solution But it's also a very good service, easy to use, efficient, nice email alias system.... 5/5 is always too much as there's more they can and will do but 4/5 would be underrated In these troubled time for privacy & democracy, moving our data to non-US companies sounds like a priority (even if you're a US citizen btw)
Very good, powerful, also smart and reliable tool. I love that it lets you store as many passwords as you want for free, as well as up to 10 email-aliases, which is enough for me. Its password generator is very powerful, with many possibilities and customization options. Also, it has a "Notes" feature, as well as a "Identities" one, which are very helpful: you can even enter phone numbers for the Identities, so I can use this if I forget someone's phone number and dont' have my main device with me, I can search for it in Pass. Thank you, Proton team, keep up the good work!
I've been an early adopter of Proton services, using Proton Mail since 2016. One ongoing frustration with Proton Pass is the PIN auto-lock feature, which is limited to a maximum timeout of just 1 hour. I've submitted three separate requests asking for either an extension or the ability to customize this timeout — but unfortunately, no action has been taken. Another issue is autofill, which still doesn't work reliably on certain websites. This can be frustrating, especially when using a password manager is supposed to make things smoother, not more cumbersome. As a longtime supporter, I'm quite disappointed that these concerns haven’t been addressed, especially considering how responsive Proton usually is with its community.
Not only Proton Pass but the whole Proton Suite is a game-changer. I can now be independent from globalist surveillance with even more apps. Also much more secure than many others that make it too easy to break into via things like spyware.
I liked it a lot. I've tried many different password managers and such. Onepass, Dashlane etc. Proton was the best. Easier to use, better in integrating with apps and etc. Use of security key.
Sencillamente PERFECTA
I've tried Roboform, Lastpass, 1Password, and Bitwarden. I think Proton Pass beats them all easily. It's just so simple, intuitive, and works pretty much in all situations.
This is by far one of the best password managers I've ever seen
