Free and unlimited password manager to keep your login credentials safe and manage them directly in your browser.
Get the password manager created by the former scientists who met at CERN behind Proton Mail, the world’s largest encrypted email provider. Proton Pass is open-source, end-to-end encrypted, and protected by Swiss privacy laws.
Pass offers more than other free password managers and has no ads or data collection. You can use it for free forever on all your devices to create and store unlimited passwords, autofill logins, generate 2FA codes, create email aliases, secure your notes, and more.
* Protect your logins and their metadata with battle-tested end-to-end encryption
While many other password managers only encrypt your password, Proton Pass uses end-to-end encryption on all your stored login details (including your username, the website address, and more).
* Audit Pass’s open-source code

I'm bought the ProtonPass for support their mission privacy for everyone. Currently so many lack of features & buggy but I hope Team Proton will work hard to Improve their new product. I miss one of the biggest feature Darkweb Monitoring which is provided by other competitors.
Killer app !
Even though Proton Pass is a work-in-progress Chrome extension, it already delivers seamless functionality. I'm thrilled about its current features and eagerly anticipate what's to come. Exciting times ahead for Proton Pass!
It's functional to a degree. It's not as seamless and user friendly as other password managers. I am only using it since it comes with all the other stuff from Proton and not keen on paying for another password manager when I already own one. What doesn't work well is the popup to save a new login, it's a 50/50. Most of the time I need to manually go in and add new login details. They also need to expand on their security options for the addon. Just having a pin code to access it and a severe lack of time frames for autolocking is very bad. The inability to update the pin code once set is also a bad security choice. Currently, I would only recommend this password manager if you are already paying for other Proton features (Mail / VPN).
Dope password manager, simple, good, nice
I bought the year sub as I expect this will improve and I needed a reliable password manager between my phone and PC. (Avastpass drops out on Android due to power saving) and I like the email alias feature. However, I'm already missing the ability to autofill credit card details so I will give it a year and get something else if this doesn't appear soon. Thanks devs - keep going!
Not ready Yet (especially not for sale)! ProtonPass definitely has potential (knowing that it's from Proton and considering the 9 years' track record). The few it has, has been well organized and polished. Nevertheless, at this stage it should only be released for free trial (although, the ongoing 12 Euros/months forever exclusive is a great deal). That written, there's is: Pros: - New kid down the block, (great for healthy competition & advancement, and more savings to the customers) - Fast importation - Smooth field autofill - Easy to create aliases (but reportedly breaks upon receiving e-mails). - Easy to get in touch with support by various means (reportedly aren't well-rounded), Cons: - No ability to skip during extension install process (pin extension, unless one closes the tab; this is malpractice, not everyone wants to have their password manager icon permanently displayed), - Extension interface needlessly large, - No extension number count hide (privacy concerns), - No dedicated webpage (yet), - No identity nor credit card support, - No autofill from extension (bound to enable "field autofill"), - No automatic TOTP copy upon field autofill, - No theme changes (Proton that default theme hurts the eyes [it's too saturated], seriously! Please include the classic theme), - No folders nor subfolders support, - No hidden locker (where one can hide sensitive infos behind a supplementary security layer), - No favorites or items pin at the top of the vault, (that's very useful since people require a lot access their simplelogin or anondaddy aliases stored as notes clipped to their respective credentials) - No notes under credentials (Like keeping a websites helpdesk contact details on that website credential entry), all notes attached to accounts are saved a seperates "Notes" after importation, - No option available other than 15 minutes extension auto-lock, - No option to choose password, 4-pin digit or 6-digit as extension unlock. - No means to manage your created aliases or a way to refer you on how to. - Limited settings (in fact quite limited), - No BATCH DELETE (So beware before importing [giving all your data] to proton), you'll end up deleting one by one. But, Fret not. I got you all! In case you wish to delete your passwords for whatsoever reasons, heres a workaround for the time being: Begining of Atem83's contribution: 👇👇🏾👇🏻 "Took this from another subreddit post," credit to Atem83 on reddit You can't delete the Primary Vault in ProtonPass. So, if you only have one vault (which is the primary vault by default), try to create a second empty vault and set it as the primary vault in ProtonPass settings; then, you should be able to delete the first vault with all your passwords in it :) End of Atem83's contribution👆👆🏾👆🏻 My contribution: 👇👇🏾👇🏻 Procedure (for the time being): - Open the ProtonPass manager extension, - Click on the square (bottom left), - Hit Settings (new tab will open), - Head to the General tab, - Then vaults, - Hit "Create a Vault," and confirm. - Next, change the default vault to the newly created vault, - Open the extension anew, - Click on the three dots next to the vault you want to delete, - Choose "delete vault," - Follow instructions and read carefully. - Confirm. And voilà !
Best security, amazing UI, plus mobile app, what more to ask, simply the best password manager.
okay as a prototype.... compared to other password products this has new features, yet the basic standard features are missing i.e. auto save login details, import a csv (exported from other product) is buggy, bulk delete vaults/folders, and lots others. But also many advanced features missing too. i've paid for it, will continue using just for one purpose. mainly because i can't import 3,000 passwords and need to individually select a vault for each. will continue using my other password product for my main logins. support is useless, they don't really understand the situation and suggest only generic answers from the knowledgebase. the only good feature is alias logins.
Since I use and need pretty basic features for my password manager, I am enjoying it a lot. Till now I have not had any issues with ProtonPass. Great work as always.
