Free and unlimited password manager to keep your login credentials safe and manage them directly in your browser.
Get the password manager created by the former scientists who met at CERN behind Proton Mail, the world’s largest encrypted email provider. Proton Pass is open-source, end-to-end encrypted, and protected by Swiss privacy laws.
Pass offers more than other free password managers and has no ads or data collection. You can use it for free forever on all your devices to create and store unlimited passwords, autofill logins, generate 2FA codes, create email aliases, secure your notes, and more.
* Protect your logins and their metadata with battle-tested end-to-end encryption
While many other password managers only encrypt your password, Proton Pass uses end-to-end encryption on all your stored login details (including your username, the website address, and more).
* Audit Pass’s open-source code

I've been a LastPass user for a number of years and migrating to Proton Pass was a breeze; so glad I made the move. For such a new app it compares really well to long-established password managers. The interface is clean and simple, and the app is so easy to use. The fact you can use the free version on as many devices as you want it brilliant, and the addition of email aliases is amazing - worth paying for - being able to use a different email address for every website you register an account with really reduces the harm done by random data breaches. There is much to love about Proton Pass.
Quite impressed with the early stages of this and support questions answered very quickly. One thing that would be an interesting feature is a linked vault for those that use the Family subscription.
Amazing! Just wish there was a way to see the changelog for the beta, to be able to keep up with the new features :)
Thx Proton for all your tools. This one is one of the best i've tested for password managing. It's game changer.
It's getting better all the time. My new favorite password manager.
Excellent so far but still needs features adding as per the above post, but my number 1 request so i can stop using bitwarden as a family is to be able to share logins with family members on my proton family account just like i can with bitwarden family account...
Very cool. Thanks again Proton 💜
I love Proton. Currently I use True Key by McAfee. It's a good password vault but I was hoping to move all my stuff to Proton Pass. Any chance you guys are going to add it to your export list of password manager apps to inport?
I've been using this app for a couple of days now (thanks to Proton for the invite) and I must say, it's off to a good start. However, there are a few features that could really take it to the next level and make me switch from my current password manager. Firstly, I would love to see a bulk editing feature. This would save me so much time when it comes to managing my passwords. Secondly, it would be great if the app could support SSH keys and licenses. Additionally, having the ability to create identities, store credit card information, and share passwords with family and friends would be incredibly useful. One feature that I think would be particularly valuable is the ability to set up an emergency contact who can request access to my vault. If I don't deny the request within a certain time frame, they would be granted access to the requested vault. Finally, a family plan would be a great addition for those of us who need to manage passwords for multiple family members. Overall, I appreciate the hard work that has gone into this app and I look forward to seeing these improvements in the future. Keep up the great work!
I've been using Proton Pass in parallel with LastPass for two years now. I'm still not quite ready to switch completely, mainly because of sharing features that I like in LastPass - but each one complements the other so between them I'm fully covered. It would take quite a bit of work to deal with consolidating all of the passwords I have in either one, and neither one works well enough to completely satisfy me. Nevertheless, I consider both to be very good.
