Changes fullscreen buttons so they will put a window around the fullscreen app. This allows you to put a Youtube video about a subject next to the paper you are writing or watch a show on Netflix while chatting. This extension will not reload the video you are watching, nor use some custom controls: it puts the website in its own fullscreen mode. Now also supports Picture-in-Picture mode when fullscreening a video, but this takes away the websites video controls.

This extension requires "Read sites data" permission to function, but you can right-click the extension icon, click "This Can Read and Change Site Data" and enable it only for websites that you are comfortable with. Also the source is open, so you can read that no data is actually read or changed by this extension :)

It will present you with a small menu when you click fullscreen, so you can choose to go fullscreen or windowed.

Works well for most video players I've tried. Gives you 3 options for full screen, real full screen, fill current window, or float into new window. I'm mostly using fill current window which works great.

Great functionality but I'm a bit concerned with the permissions this extension requires: "Read and change all your data on the websites you visit" seems excessive, and gives me some privacy concerns.

This extension is great, just what I was looking for to get maximum video size without having black bars. My only gripe is that you have to go through the little menu and pick the type of fullscreen you want. There should be 2 more buttons next to the fullscreen button and settings icon on the video to select windowed fullscreen or pop out instead of the menu. It's a small issue but that would make this so much more useful.

I love this extension, as some on with a compulsive multi tab habit, this extention lets me see any vid in full screen limited to a tab. Allowing me to watch something whilst I do other things. Thank you to the developers for not only creating this app but executing it so well.
