Changes fullscreen buttons so they will put a window around the fullscreen app. This allows you to put a Youtube video about a subject next to the paper you are writing or watch a show on Netflix while chatting. This extension will not reload the video you are watching, nor use some custom controls: it puts the website in its own fullscreen mode. Now also supports Picture-in-Picture mode when fullscreening a video, but this takes away the websites video controls.

This extension requires "Read sites data" permission to function, but you can right-click the extension icon, click "This Can Read and Change Site Data" and enable it only for websites that you are comfortable with. Also the source is open, so you can read that no data is actually read or changed by this extension :)

It will present you with a small menu when you click fullscreen, so you can choose to go fullscreen or windowed.

Simple. Effective. Useful. It does what its intended to do precisely.
It made pop out window but it does NOT float - it will go behind everything else so defeats purpose
It works everywhere and it works great, but lately youtube fullscreen got broken, probably due google's changes to their fullscreen. A fix would be make it 10/10 perfect again.
It's work for my website. May I know how I can keep the pop up floating in front while I am doing my other works?

Been searching everywhere for this kind of utility. It is perfect for watching multiple sporting events at the same time in a clean look that I can manage. If I had one addition I'd like to see added, it would be the option to have the video not popout immediately, but rather go fullscreen windowed within the browser. I do love that the popout mode has no url/bookmark manager clutter. It could just be an intermediate option. Thanks so much! Great work.
